Joachim Kreuzburg joins the Novo Holdings Advisory Group
Novo Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Joachim Kreuzburg to the Novo Advisory Group (NAG), an expert panel of senior industry leaders that supports Novo Holdings in analysing and monitoring its life science investments.
Joachim Kreuzburg brings more than two decades of executive experience from the life science technology sector. With a research background in engineering and economics, he has played a central role in developing the German pharmaceutical production and laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius into a world-leading company.
Kasim Kutay, CEO of Novo Holdings, said: “With his deep life science expertise and leadership skills, Joachim possesses insights that will be valuable to the NAG, not least when it comes to enhancing our presence in the important DACH market. We very much look forward to working with Joachim.”
Heading the development of Sartorius
Joachim Kreuzburg began his professional career in applied research, with academic roles focused on energy systems and economics. He joined Sartorius AG in 1999, where he held senior positions in finance, investor relations and corporate development before joining the Executive Board in 2002. In 2003, he was appointed CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board.
Since then, he has led the transformation of Sartorius AG from a product supplier into a global solution provider and technology partner to the biopharmaceutical industry. Under his leadership, the company has achieved sustained profitable growth through a combination of organic expansion, strategic acquisitions and continuous innovation.
Joachim Kreuzburg said: “I am delighted to be appointed as a member of the NAG, which gives me the opportunity to draw on my executive leadership experience in combination with my insights into the life science industry.
