Tim Robinson CBE joins the Novo Holdings Advisory Group

Novo Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Robinson to the Novo Advisory Group (NAG), an expert panel of senior industry leaders that supports Novo Holdings in analysing and monitoring its life science investments.

Tim brings expertise from an international career in the technology and life sciences sectors; spanning engineering, commercial and corporate leadership.

Leadership knowhow and understanding of the life science industry
Tim started his career with a decade at IBM in the UK and Asia. He subsequently held senior executive positions in global technology companies including Thales (Paris) and Silicon Graphics/Cray Research.

Between 2013 and 2021, Tim Robinson was the CEO of LGC, a global leader in life sciences, diagnostics and analytical solutions, after which he was appointed Chair of the Board.

Tim is currently serving as Chair of Single Use Support, one of Novo Holdings’ portfolio companies that provides advanced technology solutions for the pharmaceutical production process.

Tim Robinson is currently Lead Non-Executive Board Member at the UK Home Office, where – along with other private sector representatives – he is providing governance, advice and giving an external perspective to the work of the department.

Tim has previously served as a Non-Executive Board Member of the UK Government Department for International Development; as Board Member of UK Trade and Investment; as a member of Oxfam, serving on their audit committee; and as Non-Executive Director of the Camelot Group.

In 2020, Tim Robinson was awarded a CBE for services to the UK Government in Digital Technology.

He is currently a Trustee of Place2B, a children's mental health charity with over 30 years' experience working with pupils, families and school staff.
