Ellen Santagati

Ellen is the Head of Compliance and Operational Risk (U.S.) at Novo Holdings, based in the Boston office. She joined Novo Holdings in April 2026 and brings over a decade of experience in regulatory compliance across the asset management and private equity industries.

Prior to joining Novo Holdings, Ellen served as Head of Regulatory Compliance at Arrowstreet Capital, where she oversaw the firm’s core compliance functions. Before Arrowstreet, she spent four and a half years at Aberdeen with her latest role being the Chief Compliance Officer of the U.S. Private Equity division. Earlier in her career, Ellen worked at Bain Capital, leading the firm’s regulatory filings function.

Ellen began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she focused on the asset management industry.

She holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
