Senior Partner, Planetary Health Investments
Robert Tichio joined Novo Holdings in 2026 as Senior Partner and Co-Head of US Planetary Health Investments. Robert is focused on investing in companies and platforms that harness technologies with clear environmental benefits to the industries in which they operate.
Robert has 25 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure and industrials investment markets. Prior to joining Novo Holdings, Robert was Chief Executive Officer of Fortescue Capital, the decarbonization and sustainable infrastructure investment platform of global technology, energy and metals group Fortescue Limited. He also served as Senior Advisor to Novo Holdings’ Planetary Health Investments team. Previously, he was Partner and Managing Director at Riverstone Holdings, the energy and infrastructure private equity firm. He began his career at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.
Robert received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
