The Nomination Committee of Novo Holdings recommends that Henrik Poulsen is elected to its board of directors at the General Assembly on 18 March 2021, thereby increasing the size of the board from seven to eight members. All current members of the board are nominated for re-election.

About Henrik Poulsen

Currently serves as senior advisor to A.P. Møller Holding A/S, Denmark. Member of the supervisory board of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA, Germany. Deputy chair of the board of ISS A/S, Denmark. Candidate for election as member of the boards of Ørsted A/S, Novo Nordisk A/S and as deputy chair of Carlsberg A/S.

Henrik Poulsen served as CEO and President of Ørsted A/S, Denmark, a global leader in renewable energy in the period 2012-2020. Prior to that he was CEO and President of the telecommunication company TDC A/S, Denmark. From 2007-2008 he served as Operating Executive of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in the UK, preceded by executive roles with the LEGO group, Denmark, in the period 1999-2006.

Henrik Poulsen is a Danish national, born September 1967.
